Update - August 10th 3:00 PM

Here at the end of day three, there has been incredible success. The streets have been covered and are in the process of drying. By tomorrow, all parking should be completely back to normal.

Thank you to everyone for your patience through the process. The Board of Alderman would like to apologize for any inconvenience and are grateful that we have five more years before we have to do this again!

Update - August 9th 6:00 PM

Here at the end of day two the contractors have had success with paving the streets. However, due to the prospect of rain on Thursday, a co-decision was made between the City and the contractor to push ahead with the pavement and try and be done by end of business day.

Tonight - - Please Park on any completed street if the area in front of your house has not been completed yet.

--City Alderman - Bill McCrary will be stopping by door to door today, and they will be trying to inform people as they come into the Acres about the change.

August 8 through August 19th

Residents will lose access to their driveway for approximately 24 hours during street sealing

Bellerive Acres will be having the village streets sealed (similar to sealing an asphalt driveway) during the two weeks of August 8 during these two weeks. The sealing will be done in 4 - 6 separate work days. Workers will work as long as they can each day to minimize the number of days required, so all schedules below are approximate. Please watch www.belleriveacresmo.gov for updates during the work.

- On the day of sealing in front of their residence, residents will not be able to drive on the street to allow the resurfacing material to set and dry. Each resident will not be able to use their driveway for approximately 24 hours during this process

- Each area to be sealed will be blocked off at approximately 6AM on the day of resurfacing and will be reopened at approximately 6 AM the next day

- Cars can be parked on the street outside of the sealing area on the day of sealing

- Emergency vehicles will have access to streets for emergencies

- Police patrols will be increased during the resurfacing days

- Tuesday trash service will be suspended during the resurfacing

- Any weather delays will push the schedule day to day

- Information during the resurfacing will be posted at the Flag Island and on www.belleriveacresmo.gov including any information about weather delays

Week 1 – August 8, 9, 10, 11

- Day 1 (Mon) – Entrance to small tree island. Only the East half of the street from the entrance to the flag island

- Day 2 (Tuesday) – small tree island to high 50s

- Day 3 (Wed) – High 50s to low 70s

- Day 4 (Thurs) – low 70s back to entrance

Week 2 – August 15, 16, 17, 18

- Used only if work cannot be completed Week 1
