Notice for filing declaration of candidacy 2015

The City of Bellerive Acres will hold an election on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, for Mayor and four at-large positions on the Board of Aldermen. All elected positions are subject to election this year as this is the first municipal election following the City’s transition from a Village to a City with a Mayor and Board of Aldermen form of government. The Mayor’s position is for a two-year term. The two at-large Board candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected for two-year terms. The two at-large Board candidates receiving the third and fourth highest number of votes will be elected for one-year terms. Candidates wishing to file for election must file a declaration of candidacy with City Clerk Stacey Fields, or her designee, at Ms. Fields’ office (Normandy City Hall), 7700 Natural Bridge Road, Normandy, Missouri 63121. Filing for candidates opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Filing for candidates will close on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Filing may be accomplished between December 15, 2015 and January 19, 2016 during Normandy City Hall’s regular business hours.
